FLUMEN magazine
Highlighting contemporary arts and artistic interventions in Rio de Janeiro
FOR ESPM
Work done as a group
The word "Flúmen," derived from the Latin "flumine," means river. It conveys the idea of movement and fluidity of waters, which mix, share, and carry stories and cultures. This is why those born in Rio de Janeiro are called "fluminense," and as the content deals with Rio's production, the magazine emerged.
Flumen was created to celebrate contemporary arts and artistic interventions in the political scene that are at the forefront in the Rio de Janeiro scenario, deconstructing the idealized image of the city.
The Flumen magazine has created a space to promote artists with limited visibility in the world of expressive languages. Therefore, Flumen aims to make the reader flow through the magazine's content and overflow with the reflections proposed through its articles.
